Thor Sundays
In two days my mini-muffin will be 30 days old by my best guess. I found he and his litter mates on the 26th of June, four Sundays ago. While Honey and I are still somewhat on the fence about whether or not he's actually a he or a she, the name Thor will remain no matter what.
I expanded the kitty condo in the spare room so he's got some room to stretch and play. I snitched two jingly balls the older kitty's had tried to hide and Little Hooman gave a piece of a project she'd made a couple years ago in middle school (basically some craft cotton balls on the end of a small dowel). There are little cute gentle pounces and he loves to play the belly tickle-finger nibble game. Awake more than asleep, we have to make sure he's either with one of us or near us. I still haven't let the big cats have more than a long distance sniff...still haven't had vaccinations yet and honestly...my big cats are huge, gorgeous, and kinda bitchy. They might cuddle him or they might eat him...it could go either way. Hell they might cuddle till the tummy growls....**love love lick lick...chomp**
An amazing 9.8 ounces! He's over half a pound! Tried a smidge of milk in a bowl lid today...not so much yet. We'll work on it. I did add an organic kitty vitamin to his food to help out the skin and coat issue. The fur is growing in on his little paws but his tail is slowly sloughing off the old fur and new skin and fur is growing in. It looks rough but it's fine. The potty issue is much better, I do one day of sugar and one day of Pedialite. Now he's pottying on a more even schedule and feels much better. I took some candids today, he's moving so much now...it's like a little fluffy black blur! Before he lays down to sleep, he cleans his little feets and snuggles under Mr. Bun Bun.
He feels allll the love you guys send, we have a happy jelly bean.
