The fundie neighbors have moved

I had made a post about my passive aggressive fundie neighbors. I was awoken at 1 am to the sound of a truck backing up. You know those beep beep beep things? There was a Uhaul sitting in the neighbors drive. I watched as they started bringing shit out.

I admit I fell asleep because it was boring and it was early am. This morning though their place is completely barren! It's even more run down when they have nothing there. Talking to a neighbor I guess they hadn't paid their rent in three months and that's why the midnight run. They are hoping to escape from paying the back rent. They left the ugly crosses on their trailer but took the huge wooden one they had covered in lights.

Real 'Christian' like of them. To leave in the middle of the night to not pay what they owe. I'm really glad they are gone though. They have done so much damage to that home. There are four broken windows all taped up with what looks like duct tape. One window is completely gone with a piece of board over it. The skirting around the home has all been torn down and there are six mattresses piled in the yard and we do not have trash pickup here. Neighbor reports they ditched their cats too as she's seen two of them running under the house.

So they are gone to places unknown and have left a terrible mess to clean up. I'll try and get some house photos this evening. I'm just going to party because they are gone! Woot

I'm happy for you that they left.  The stories you had about them were so disturbing.  Now you and your neighbors can have some peace.  And yes, real Christian of them to trash the place, abandon the animals, and run off in the dead of night.

The mattresses have been hauled away but you can see the broken windows covered in wood and the trashy way they left the house here. Only one of the crosses is visible. Hubby says he thinks they were dealing out of the house

I'm glad they are gone too. But also I worry about new people coming in. I hope this place stays abandoned honestly or completely ripped up and towed away

I was returning a blu-ray last week and walked in the door to hear a guy screaming about "that crazy bitch."  Then security hustled him out the door.  The kids aren't allowed to run or yell either.  It's surprising they are maintaining some standards.

The most tense place I have ever been is a Holocaust Museum where several people were being disrespectful and a brawl broke out right next to me. This was maybe the 3rd HM we have visited. I told my husband that’s enough. No more of those. I know what happened and have seen enough.

I work at a library and I can tell you that no one behaves the way they used to, especially the kids. We are supposed to let them just be themselves, meanwhile sometimes it is a circus. I'm so glad I don't work in the public area anymore because it used to get me so angry. If you let them run around and do what they want, how are they going to behave elsewhere? And what will happen when they get older? How can they learn? Now, I'm not saying we need absolute silence but there are people who are trying to study and like the library as a quiet and peaceful place.

The worst case of this was at Anne Franks house 2 years ago. Everyone respectfully murmurs - same as in a library. A group of high school aged children were running through the rooms and watching stuff on mobile phones with the volume on. Not one teacher said anything. They were there!
A few visitors did have a word with them. Things didn’t improve though.

Whatever the results were for the recent scan...if it was showing the cancer shrinking to nothing, they'd be shouting the good news from the rooftops, right?

My recent experiences with MRI were that the results were read by the radiologist and posted in the patient portal within a day or two and I assume other scans would be equally speedy.

Shalom posted an Instragram story: "Microbiom[e] plays a role in healing from cancer"
