Hangover Thorsday
So yeah. Mardi Gras. I did NOTHING. We're usually in the thick of it at least at the very beginning of the festivities and then on the day itself...we love the Independent Parade at the end. My husband fell ill at work 2 weeks ago, this landed him in the hospital for 6 days. I still had school at least a couple of those days, the girl need ferrying to and from school and then drivers ed classes over the weekend, and then there's the business. My husband runs the family business and I work there doing everything officey. Naturally because we were not only a man down but also the decision maker down--everything had to happen right then. Annnddd my dryer died. All this on top of losing my puppy dog. I was good till about 5 days into the whole ordeal....and then I crack-cracked the second day he was home. (Thus the hangover, I partied late this year) This kitten was up my rear the whole time. Head booping me and purring and biting fingers. He's finally warmed up to the toy I got, he was actually pawing at it for me to turn it on the other day! The pic of him up against Princess....they were on Honey's lap and he buried his face in her fur to take his nap. He loooves her long furs. So..a million changes at one time but I've got my little Thor muffin to help ease the transition!
