Speaking of No Such Thing as Mistakes

Posting this one because it has at least one flaw.  And because when I see it now I'm not happy with the black.  But then I look at it again and I kind of like it.  It just isn't color choices I would make now.  I do like the way the blue I used on the moon pops.  You can see a coloring blooper of some sort (This is an early work and I don't remember what went on with that one section toward the bottom).  Free page I found via Pinterest.  Twistables but a smaller pack than I have now (8 I think but maybe at 16 count).

And before I committed to books I got my feet wet with the free stuff I could find (like this).

I like this.  It's interesting to see how a person's work evolves over time.  I look at some of my first ones and while the coloring itself is fine, sometimes I wonder what I was thinking with color choices.  They seemed right at the time and aren't wrong, but aren't what I'd do today.

I see the one color anomaly you mentioned where it looks like you accidentally used a grey-green vs a straight grey, but other than that I don't see anything I would call mistakes.

I had a reading done (astrology but the astrologist practices SRT and is highly intuitive) partway through 2014.  She told me I needed to 'play' more.  I have a lot of perfectionist tendencies and a very serious nature.  When i found adult coloring I asked her if that counted a playing.  (we are facebook friends and 'met' through cousin K).  She said yes!  So I get a play boost, and meditation but it also helps me work on the parts of me that nit pick everything I do.    Coloring is teaching me (slowly) that I don't have to be perfect all the time.

On another note.  Dear Crayola Twistables.  I have a 30 count here.  I have an entire rainbow of colors from yellow to orange.  Also a  nice selection of pints/purples.  The greens are nice going from yellow to olive.  WHY do I only have TWO blues..  TWO?

@clueliss   I agree about the twistables.  Why isn't there a 50 or 72 pack!   I have the 30 and the um extreme maybe?   still not enough colors.

Though I have discovered that I tend to use the same colors over and over.  I'm trying to break out of that at least a little bit.

I would say that if Art isn't fundraising, that their basic needs are being met by their income.  Sure they aren't going to go out to dinner or buy lottery tickets but if their basic needs are met, they can work towards other goals without the stress of knowing if they can make rent or pay for utilities.

I know a trans person (male to female). It’s been about a year since they came out. Their birth name is Harry but they go by Hari.  Saw new pictures of them today & they look like a natural female.

some trans or nonbinary people try to pick something similar to their origin name to make the transition for other people easier. so Maddie to Matthew or Bailey to Bryan. considering Artemis real name is Cynthia, they could have gone by Cy, pronounced "sigh" or Cyril, Cyrus, Cyd. Artemis Stardust just seems like art wanted a name they deemed as "cool". but honestly makes them standout in a negative way since people know art did it on purpose and probably wasn't named that at birth. And if Art wants to change their last name why doing they just takes their partners last name. They said a while ago they were engaged and tried to thrift money for a courthouse wedding. with matching tailored tuxedos and custom rainbow rings. Art if your health  and death wishes are so important to you  just go to the courthouse and get married, you dont need to beg hard workin people for money so you can have pride rings and a custom tuxedo, there are suits at the thrift shop and cheap rings anywhere

Crockett seems to have been spending a lot of time with his brother and Hayley in FL. I wonder if seeing them married is giving him the itch to get married, too.
