Odds and ends at the Maxwells

Yeah, I agree. In fact, the girls' voices have a sweet tone (nasal-ness aside). But they really cannot sing, as in reach the notes they mean to reach. I also can't sing--at all--but I know that I can't. I think it doesn't matter in Maxhell, though. They will sing if Steve wants them to.

They can sing if Steve wants them to. They can leave their friends behind...

But their friends don't dance and if they don't dance, well, they're going to dance with DEATH anyway and burn in Hell cause Stevehovah said so.

OK, here's another song that's now going to be filled in by FJ lyrics every time I hear it....the Safety Dance.

If they had all the books on kindle version, of be tempted to get them. By then, I wouldn't want to support the maxhellions.

I agree, I wouldn't spend my hard-earned money to support their delusional lifestyle - any more than I would purchase any of the Duggar books as well.

I'll just come here and let someone else do the suffering and reporting!

I buy all of my Maxwell books used on amazon, dirt cheap. SOMEbody paid them directly, but at least it's not me.

The Moody's Long Vacation-- Daddy moody gets laid off and the family becomes homeless... obvious to the reader, but the Moody CHildren don't get or won't accept what is really going on...

but I should write my own stuff, not faux Sara...

"A neighborly invitation" post is up... And I thought that neighbours of theirs invited them over.

Sadly, it was an all-in-the-family invitation at Christpher's.

Look at Josh in 2 bibs..... Don't these people wash clothes?!?!

Heaven forbid if Josh gets a bit of food on his shirt! I totally undertsand putting a bib on him but two? I guess cleanliness really is next to Godliness in that household. I wonder why Nathan and family didn't come.

I don't think the concept of neighbors means what they think it means. Your own son/brother don't exactly count as friendly neighbors. Neighbors choose to be friends, it's not written in daddy's rule book.

Well, the two bibs are awkward... but I´m actually way more astonished abou them being allowed to go to IKEA!

Stevie got me on that one too.

I think "A neighborly invitation" is Stevie's way of laying on my heart to do another Neighbours comment...

Just commenting on something I recently noticed; they've changed the cover on their Manager's of Their Homeschool book.

Previously, it pictured Anna on the cover, wearing a frumper, seated, I believe, at the kitchen table.

The new cover is of a younger girl, dressed in a more modern way. Definitely more eye catching.

I wonder if this came out of their day long brain storming session? Can an update of the old, boring MOTH cover be far behind?

Hopefully they are able to experience the meatballs (and more than *two* of them!)

I can't wait to check out Ikea where I recently moved, but it's soooo far, even by train :( I like going to Ikea in every new place I'm in. Not super into traditional tourist stuff

Am I seeing things, or are the plates sitting in front of both NR-Anna and Christopher actually FULL? I wonder if they are actually allowed to eat more in their own home than what is allocated over at the mothership?

Oh FFS I used to do the same thing with my kid. In fact, I put an art smock on him. Changing clothes a billionty times a day when they're little whirling dervishes of filth and destruction gets OLD. If you have a way to prevent even one extra clothes change, especially with a newborn, git er done, I say.

Plenty of reasons not to like them, but really? Because bibs?

I think they did this a little while ago, actually - I seem to remember a post about it, that one of the Maxwell sons redesigned the covers of several of their books for the latest print run. It was one of their usual "see, look at the talent of our business-working children!" type posts.

Maybe it was the same time they put out Teri's "Sweet Journeys" book? I'll have to go look around...

Unless the IKEA bibs were gifts from from the wife's side or a friend, they must have picked them up while they were on the road or ordered them from the catalog--Kansas City's IKEA doesn't open until this coming fall. I am looking forward to it, as I've not been in an IKEA. I've been by, but usually don't want to bother to have things shipped, or didn't have time.
