....i have a hard time believing these girls go on tumblr. I mean there's plenty on there that would be in line with their faith, but if they aren't careful they'll be opened up to the world of angry tumblr feminists and geek girls and surprise porn reblogs. Its quite the rabbit hole.

I hate to speculate on whether someone is pg or not but the video speaks for itself. She looked totally uncomfortable being videoed. Didn't know if it was just that she didn't want anyone (the public) to know or if she gets a skeevy vibe from David. (I know I would!) Wonder when they'll announce it?

My guess is it will be announced to coincide with Jill's wedding.

Re Anna: We know the weight isn't a carry over from Marcus because she was the thinnest she's been in awhile during the book tour. So she either randomly started gaining weight again (possible, but not likely given she has quite a "bump") or she's pregnant (and while yes, Marcus isn't one yet, when two people don't use birth control but routinely have sex...)

Re: Tumblr. I'm not surprised they are on tumblr. I don't even believe that the older kids are that chaperoned. I'm almost 100% convinced Jill had unsupervised Skype chats with Derick(probably in the living room where various siblings popped their heads in to say hi) and we know Jessa gets private phone calls. The scene of Jim Bob and Michelle sitting next to her as she skyped him, struck me a completely stage. Plus, I refuse to believe that Michelle cares enough to spend that much time getting in her daughter's business. I do believe the have a group thread for texts, but I'm sure Jim Bob is the only one poking his head in and not because he's keeping her sweet, but because he want to throw in his lame jokes like the you are my sunshine nonsense.

In our determination to make the Duggars out to be psychos who monitor ever thing about everything, I think we forget that ALL of it is staged. If there's one thing I've learned from my dad's side of the family, it's that when religious people get together suddenly everyone's fundie. The Duggars have an agenda and are acting to seem like perfect Christians. I don't understand how we can say that the Duggars are imperfect parents, cooks, disciplinarians, and their gratitude and punctuality sucks, but when it comes to religion they are perfect fundies.

For some reason I can't shake the feeling that Michelle is pregnant. They sure seem to be hinting at the fact they'd love to have more and you never know, it's in every episode.

I'm worried about this dude that might be courting Jinger (or Jana?). I feel like it would be so easy for one of those girls to get caught up in being jealous of their sisters courting, so jump into courtship and marriage with a guy that isn't right for them. I get the uneasy feeling that that's the only way any of the Duggars are going to escape the cult life- by getting married to someone that isn't right for them and getting divorced.

Even is J'chelle was pregnant, they wouldn't announce it until after 30 weeks or so. They got a ton of harsh feedback (even in their circles) about the whole jubilee nonsense. If she is in fact pregnant with #20, they would wait till it was viable, then plaster on every news source possible.

I am still in the camp that thinks it is impossible for her to get pregnant and any "missed cycles" is from menopause and not a pregnancy.

But them visiting and sending an ask to a blog that is run through tumblr doesn't mean they're on tumblr. I don't know though.

I don't think that they are very monitored either anymore, so if they have tumblr I wouldn't put it past them. I love tumblr. :embarrassed:

But I think the episode where she was building the playhouse was filmed a long time ago, like only a couple months or so after Marcus was born, so she would've still been carrying that baby weight. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Josie was viability age and I think they would probably wait until there was no risk of another micro. Though, if she had another micropreemie like Josie and hadn't announced they were expecting, that'd be interesting.

The risk of miscarriage also increases with age right? Not just the chance of pg going down? I wonder if Michelle has had any since Jubilee. For her sanity and that of those around her, I hope her last pregnancy was Jubilee.

Ah true. I forgot about the fact that after 19 children she'd probably look full term around 20 weeks! Heck, I only have two kids and look around 4-5 months pregnant after a large dinner!!!

I think she could if she really wanted to. They're traveling a lot right now, but if they stayed at home for a while, she wouldn't get scrutinized that much. They have adult children to do errands in town. They could even appear by video for somethings because "the children are ill" or whatever, and just keep a close crop on her. There would be speculation, but we've done that before.

I think if she is pregnant, then she's not far along at all, because she's been seen in public recently. But she would only have to hole up after like, three months or so, and then only stay close to home for six months. I think it's totally doable.

Some of the kids may adopt if they leave the Gothard fold. There are families in ATI/IBLP with adopted kids but I doubt many were adopted AFTER they joined.

I don't think she's pregnant, but she can't say, "done," even if she wanted to be. Her theology demands that she be "open to blessings." I honestly don't think she wants any more kids. I don't see the wistful looks that others claim to see when she talks about them. But she has to talk the talk, because that's what's expected of her, just like paying lip service to adoption is what's expected of her. I think she'll be perfectly fine with no more babies. I think a lot of talking about it in the TH is prompting from the camera crew.

However, it's not as rare to get pregnant late in life as some people think, especially with a proven track record of fertility. I still think it's totally possible for either Michelle or Kelly Bates to get pregnant again. Whether they carry to term is another matter...

She wouldn't stay pregnant long enough I don't think. I think she could conceive... stranger things have happened, but I have serious doubts that she could carry a pregnancy along. I assume she'd be on constant bedrest, and even that probably wouldn't be enough.
