An attorney involved in efforts to upend the results of the 2020 election was arrested in federal court in Washington this week and ordered to turn herself in to authorities in Michigan as civil and criminal cases involving claims of voter fraud collided.

Stefanie Lambert’s arrest came more than a week after officials had issued a bench warrant for failing to appear for a hearing in her criminal case in Michigan, where she is charged with illegally breaching voting machines, and days after she came under scrutiny for the release of documents as the attorney for an ally of former president Donald Trumpin a federal defamation case.

Lambert was held at a D.C. detention center as a “fugitive from justice” until Tuesday, when a judge released her on an unsecured $10,000 bond with orders to turn herself in to the police in Michigan by Wednesday or face rearrest.

The presidential election is three months away. What if the billionaire contests the result? What if he decides democracy is overrated?

One of those, "Where the heck do I put this?" posts and although not exactly directly related to election interference, it is!  If you are still using Twitter, as I am, it's filled with bots and trolls, although there is still a lot of excellent information.

Alejandra Caraballo  @Esqueer_ tweeted about who, exactly owns X/Twitter/*hitter/X Corp

"BREAKING: The full list of investors in X Corp has been unsealed. See them for yourselves. Some investors Include ownership stakes from Saudi Arabia and a slew of VC funds."

Also, how this came to be.   For starters: "The absolutely hilarious part about all of this is that this was a complete self-own by Musk's lawyers. They were attempting to maneuver around claims for not paying out severance for employees after layoffs. They removed the case from state court to federal court.  

Federal court requires filing of a corporate disclosure statement. Plaintiffs specifically asked the court to force X Corp to file their list of investors. The court did so and allowed it under seal. The case was then remanded back to state court for lack of federal jurisdiction. 

So X removed the case to federal court only for it to get remanded back down to state court and the only actual thing that happened was filing their disclosure statement. Journalists intervened to unseal the disclosure and now it must be unsealed. 

TLDR: Musk's lawyers messed up so badly trying to maneuver an employmee severance case they just got X Corp's cap table ordered to be unsealed."
