In fact, the only place I've found her with a ring on her IG going back to when she started her account (aside from recently) is this one - and it's her middle finger and clearly no stone.

Jana and Abbie seem pretty close and she definitely seems to have a special fondness for their kids, which I think makes sense since she and JD are twins and do seem particularly close.

Thank you for the hard work! I do think Jana is engaged and won’t announce it until after the wedding.

Hasn't anyone Duggar adjacent slipped anything about Jana being engaged? With her seemingly doing nothing to hide a ring, maybe even showing of a bit, + suddenly re-appearing on social media I'm sort of curious about what's going on.

She could've had a kind of recommitment to Christian living (is there an adult Journey to the Heart) or something and decided to wear a purity ring again, but I don't think that's likely given her some of her other choices.

I think it's much more likely she's engaged and this, paired with the posting on YouTube, is a way to generate interest before she makes an announcement. She's probably savvy enough to know her announcement and youtubing about wedding plans and prep and house shopping and all those things will generate followers and income. Or it could be that she watched all her sisters have the spotlight on them for those things and naturally would like the same. 

I hope her future spouse is someone who will treat her well and help her get further and further out of fundamentalism.

So she posted a video of her working on the family's above ground pool with what seemed to me obvious shots of her left hand. No ring present, at least as far as I could see. 🤷‍♀️

The footage is old, she said they have been using the pool for the last year. I wonder why Jana was recording so much a year ago and then decided not to post it at that time.

I also think it’s weird she’s suddenly uploading a lot of videos she’s filmed in the past. Why now is my question. Maybe she is getting married and she’s gearing up to and engagement and wedding YouTube video in order to drum up more views and likes.

I think this is most likely it. I bet she is getting married in September/October (Jana gives me fall wedding vibes) and she is building back up her channel and content and then she will announce the engagement and it will bring people to her channel and get that boost and then she will move into fairly regular content creation.

I'm not surprised they're being quiet about it. I am surprised that none of the non-Duggar guests have said anything about it. 

That date is from the registry and usually they use fake dates, so I doubt it's real.

Either way, I say good for Jana. If she has chosen to be single and is just trying to throw people off that trail, good for Jana. If she has found a partner to do life with, good for Jana. If she's trying to give people a little information so they think they know what's going on but don't tell them the important things, good for Jana. I appreciate her lower profile.

The first rumor of the date that I heard preceded the registry, but that doesn't make it valid either.  We won't know for sure she's engaged unless she tells us until after the ceremony if they are getting married.

It is very likely. Alyssa’s brother Jackson lives near her and appears to work for one of the Wissman brothers, so there is that double connection if Jana is marrying Stephen (Jackson Bates and Nate Wissman were also in each other’s wedding parties).

Clarifying what I meant: there are overlaps between the Bares and Wissman family and Alyssa lives close to one of the Wissman brothers and her own brother works for him, so I feel like Alyssa would be well aware of any wedding plans, especially if a Wissman was involved.

Didn't Jed and Katey keep their relationship secret until they were married? Where there any rumours around them or did it come as a surprise? If it was possible for the Duggars to stay quiet once it might very well happen again. Whatever the case is with Jana, I hope she's content with her life.

Jed! posted their creepy Valentine's Day proposal on YT before the wedding. They live streamed the actual wedding. I know because I watched it (until the feed died). It's infamous for the livestock in the background.
