Shannen Doherty Has Died.

Actress Shannen Doherty passed away on July 13 from cancer. She was 53. Mrs. Doherty was known for her roles in the T.V. sitcoms Beverly Hills 90201, Charmed, and the movie Heathers.

I remember being in high school and a teacher asked the class what we all thought of 90210.  My classmates objected to the series on the grounds that it was unrealistic.  Of course it might have been realistic for such an exclusive wealthy area but we in the Midwest weren't exactly impressed with the show.  While the press claimed that teenage girls on 90210 found the Brenda character to be relatable for most of the women in my high school class that wasn't the case.
