Also, now that I found out Jana was in college, I wonder if this was related in any way to her moving under her own little house. She's got to be a pretty good student to make the dean's list for some kind of nursing degree and I'm wondering, now that it's finally her turn, if she convinced her parents to move out so she can study better.

The pictures are beautiful. 

The article made me sad, too - reading between the lines made me think how long she had been operating under "what's wrong with me?" "why can't I find 'the one?" I hope good things for her and seems like if trend continues it's a positive when the Duggar daughters move away from home.

I wonder what it will be like for the younger teens still at home - there really are so few left now and at least on socials it seems like projects with older siblings were a thing.

They look genuinely happy and comfortable around each other.

That article makes it sound like she was so in love with the idea of marriage and the fairytale wedding, more than the groom. But that doesn't really gel with other past things we've heard about all the interested suitors approaching Jim Bob and her having 'dated a few guys' but not found the right one. I think she's fully steeped in Kool-Aid and believed God wanted her to be a wife and mother, but was also careful about not rushing into a lifetime commitment.

I looked up the timeline for Jer and Hannah, because I remember the sleuthers had matched Jana and Stephen to each other at the same time and there was lots of talk of a possible double wedding. They began dating December 2020 so the Christmas photo must have been around then? And then Josh's arrest was early 2021, and that was when the show was finally cancelled for good. They still had film crews around for every courtship and engagement back then, plus the stress of reporters all over the Josh situation, so I wouldn't be surprised if that contributed to their breakup. Jim Bob would have been hell behind closed doors too, and possibly still trying to figure out how he could leverage his children to keep his show.

Interesting. In the People magazine it was said he walked her down the Isle. Is it possible he is escorting someone else?

That isn’t for Jana’s wedding. Michelle wore a dress that she had worn before (no shame here, I think it’s good to reuse dresses). 

I cannot imagine that Jim Bob didn’t walk Jana down the aisle. Most girls/ young women want their dad to do that. Things at TTH will be very different now that Jana has moved to Nebraska. I think only Jackson, Hannie, Jenny, Jordyn and Josie live there now. James and Jason have moved out, I think, but are still on the property, one in a treehouse! I wonder who will get Jana’s tiny house.

Who is oldest girl living at home now Jenny at 18? Will she be the one in charge of everything now? It will be easier since at least the kids still at home are at least teen and the grands are at the TTH just for part of the days/special occasion but still it will be a lot of work

In the picture on the old thread where Jana and Stephen  sit on the couch together, she looks happy and content. She looks like she is herself. 

I married at 34 and we were together for 10 years before that. We bought and renovated a house together after 5 years being together, and I remember telling my grandma that I understand  how people get a divorce after they build a house together. This renovating process was a  real test to our relationship. Our house is not fully renovated because we decided that we want to go on vacations too, and that some interior designs are not important to us (we absolutely love our 70s bathrooms).

This is through best I can do with shoes. I zoomed in on the Instagram pics. Jessa has the flats and Johanna has the heels.

I really thought that day would never come. But since Luke Arndt and Sarah Maxwell married it looks like everything seems possible ain't it?

I'm happy for them. May it be true love or just a very deep friendship they seem to be very comfortable around each other and look like a better fit then some of the other Duggar couples.

I also like Jana's dress. I'm absolutely not into white wedding dresses but if I had to choose one of the dresses the Duggar and Duggar-in-laws wore for my wedding it would probably Jana's.

I used the RSVP's + Fundie wiki, so I could have forgotten someone. I would be annoyed if my dress shop publicized this. Of course, I’m old, and Jana’s family has broadcast numerous wedding-related near-disasters. But Jana is so organized and such a planner that I wonder what happened.

What a relieve. Justus made it to his second birthday with no younger sibling. If they had kept up with their initial pace Kendra would easily be pregnant with their sixth child.
